The priority deadline is March 23, 2026. Any applications received after this date will be waitlisted and accepted on a rolling basis.

Government agencies, nonprofits, and educational institutions across California are invited to apply to host SSC Fellows for the 2026-27 program term.​ Fellows serve full-time, spending 80-90% of their term working directly with your organization and the remaining 10-20% participating in SSC-led training and professional development.
Our small cohort of 27 passionate Fellows allows us to provide personalized support to both Fellows and host sites. This close collaboration fosters strong partnerships, meaningful climate project implementation, and lasting leadership development. Fellows work on a wide range of climate initiatives, and your organization can design projects tailored to your specific climate goals and community needs.​
